The service

Moonscribed generates personalized children's stories, illustrations, and narration using artificial intelligence, on your request. By using the app you agree to these terms; if you don't agree, please don't use the app. You must be an adult to create an account.

Your content

The stories, characters, and recordings you create belong to you. You give us permission to process them — with the partners named in our Privacy Policy — solely to make your stories, pictures, narration, and printed books. AI-generated content can be imperfect; review stories as you would any bedtime book, and use your judgment about what suits your child.

Voice recording

Record only your own voice, or a voice you have clear permission to record. Personal narration voices may be used only for narrating stories inside Moonscribed.

Fair and gentle use

Don't use Moonscribed to create content that is harmful, unlawful, or inappropriate for a children's storytelling service — our safety systems will refuse, and repeated attempts may end an account. Don't attempt to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the service. Daily and monthly generation limits apply by plan.

Subscriptions and purchases

Paid plans are auto-renewing subscriptions billed to your Apple account, renewing monthly or annually at the price shown until you cancel — at least 24 hours before the period ends — in your device's App Store subscription settings. Free-trial time, where offered, converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends. Printed-book orders are custom-made and cannot be cancelled once printing begins; we'll make it right if a book arrives damaged or misprinted.

Free allowances

Free monthly allowances are a gift we intend to keep giving; their size may change with notice, and they may not be resold or farmed across accounts.

Unlimited plans

Unlimited plans are unlimited for one account holder's genuine use — your own, and your household's. They are not for sharing or resale beyond that, for automated or scripted generation, or for any use whose purpose is to defraud us or to deliberately strain the service. If we find an account being used abusively, fraudulently, or outside its intended purpose, we may suspend it — and if we do, the refund promise below applies.

If we end an account

If we suspend or terminate an account during a paid term, your payment is not forfeited: we will refund the unused portion of anything you've prepaid, pro-rated to the day (purchases made through an app store are refunded through that store's process). Ending an account is never a way for us to keep your money.

Endings

You can delete your account any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms. The service is provided "as is" to the fullest extent the law allows; our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before a claim. These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state where Magnum Appus LLC is registered, and if any part of them is found unenforceable the rest still stands.
